Dr. Saad Islam grew up in Piscataway New Jersey and received his Bachelor’s degree in Cell Biology & Neuroscience from Rutgers University. Dr. Islam is a graduate of the New York College of Podiatric Medicine. He then went on to complete a rigorous three year residency in Podiatric Surgery at Robert Wood Johnson Community Medical Center in Toms River, NJ. Dr. Islam served as Chief Resident during his final year. Throughout his residency, he received extensive training in foot and ankle trauma, forefoot and rear foot reconstructive surgery, elective surgical techniques, minimally invasive bunion surgery, diabetic limb salvage, wound care, and sports medicine. He attended courses and received training in arthroscopy and various surgical techniques including internal and external fixation. He is ABFAS board qualified in forefoot and rear foot & ankle surgery.
Dr. Islam performs the newest bunion procedures including Lapiplasty correction and Minimally Invasive surgery. He routinely provides conservative treatments to alleviate painful conditions for both adults and children. Office procedures include Injections, Ingrown nail procedures, Wart procedures, skin and nail biopsies, wound care and grafting, epidermal nerve fiber density testing for peripheral neuropathy, peripheral arterial disease testing, orthotics.
Dr. Islam is currently a member of the American College of Foot and Ankle Surgeons. His hobbies include watching and playing basketball.

DR. DJAVLON KHAKIMOV | PODIATRY MEDICINE & ANKLE SURGERY
Djavlon Khakimov, DPM, AACFAS is a reconstructive foot and ankle surgeon who has extensive training in diagnosing and treating various foot and ankle disorders. After receiving his Bachelor of Science degree at York College, Dr. Khakimov continued his graduate degree at New York College of Podiatric Medicine, where he received several scholarships and awards graduating Magna Cum Laude and top 3 of his class. He was also inducted into National Pi Delta Honor’s Society for his academic achievements.
Afterwards, he completed his surgical residency at Morristown Medical Center. Dr. Khakimov published numerous research posters as well as articles in various medical journals. His special clinical interests include traumatic injuries of the foot and ankle, sports injuries, arthroscopy, Charcot foot reconstruction, flatfoot reconstruction and total ankle replacement.
He is a strong believer in evidence-based-medicine and stays up to date with latest treatment guidelines and surgical techniques. Dr. Khakimov strives to provide the highest quality care to his patients by carefully listening to their needs and ensuring that they feel valued ission is to improve the health and well-being of our community through compassionate care and personalized treatment plans.
